Conventions of title sequences
List of titles expected in film credits in conventional order -
- Distribution Company Logo - usually the first thing you see at the start of a film
- Distribution Company Names
- Production Company Name
- Production Team
- Producer (is normally seen twice, at the beginning and at the end)
- Main actor - if famous, used as a marketing tool to attract audience attention
- Other big names if any
- Film title
- The rest of the actors, usually titled together to show less importance
- Casting director
- Costume designer
- Music by
- Co-executive producers
- Editor
- Co-producer
- D.O.P- director of photography
- Executive Producer
- Producer (same as #5, is also the director, who comes last because they assume an important role and therefore should be the last person you see)
