Title Sequence Analysis

Conventions of title sequences
List of titles expected in film credits in conventional order -
  1. Distribution Company Logo - usually the first thing you see at the start of a film
  2. Distribution Company Names
  3. Production Company Name
  4. Production Team
  5. Producer (is normally seen twice, at the beginning and at the end)
  6. Main actor - if famous, used as a marketing tool to attract audience attention
  7. Other big names if any
  8. Film title
  9. The rest of the actors, usually titled together to show less importance
  10. Casting director
  11. Costume designer
  12. Music by
  13. Co-executive producers
  14. Editor
  15. Co-producer
  16. D.O.P- director of photography
  17. Executive Producer
  18. Producer (same as #5, is also the director, who comes last because they assume an important role and therefore should be the last person you see)
