Conventions of film openings

Starting off our media studies project I had a look 3 film openings Psycho, Trainspotting and Goodfellas. To start off they all show their production company logo and distribution company logo in each one the music set the mood for the film. In trainspotting there was fast paced music which went well with the action packed opening.

Also to introduce the characters there is a freeze frame of each main character and their name is underneath this is often done in films to introduce the characters.
