Conventions of film openings

Film number one : 'psycho' - The convention of this film was the setting,classical /orchestra dramatic sound music which sets the mood of the film there was also a panning shot, the date was shown in the credits to show chronology which had a massive effect

The second film was trainspotting which had fast passed movement, the opening of the movie also introduced the characters whilst pausing the the credits, the characters were running which fits in with the fast paced music and a narrative was tere throughout the whole of the opening of the film.

Film number three was 'goodfellas' - which also showed the date of when the movie was set in the credits which fits in with te mood of the film. The car sound corresponding with the movement of the credits and the warner bros logo was also shown in the opening of the movie . The warner bros logo at the beginning of the sequence showed the company in which the movie was distrubuted.
